Student Switch Off NUS Ben & Jerry's Carbon Leapfrog Degrees Cooler NUS Extra Image Map

Let’s get quizzical!

Today sees the launch of our climate change quiz at all universities running Student Switch Off across the UK. On each campus someone completing the quiz will be selected at random to win a litre of Ben & Jerry’s and at the national level, the four halls that get the highest % of their students completing the 3-minute quiz will be rewarded with a delivery of 100 tubs of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream – amazing! So, go to the Student Switch Off Facebook page for your Uni (accessible via the Find a Uni page – you don’t have to have a Facebook profile to take the quiz), have a go at the quiz and encourage your flatmates to have a go as well!

The quiz is accessible via laptops, desktops and tablets but not mobile phones.

The terms & conditions are as follows:

  1. The quiz is launched on Wednesday 4th November 2015 and closes at midnight on Wednesday 18th November 2015
  2. The four halls from across the UK that get the highest proportion of their students completing the quiz will be rewarded with a delivery of 100 tubs of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream (to be delivered at a time/date selected by the university)
  3. In the event of a draw the winning hall will be picked from a hat
  4. There is a maximum of one ice cream delivery per university. If a hall with less than 100 students wins, some of the 100 tubs will be shared with other halls from that University.
  5. One student who completes the quiz from each university will be selected at random to win a litre of Ben & Jerry’s!
  6. Any apparent abuse of the competition (e.g. completion of the quiz on behalf of others) will lead to disqualification of that particular hall
